San Diego in September is famously mild, so think warm, sunny days in the mid-to-upper 70s, with much cooler, breezier evenings once the sun goes down near the water. It’s a very different climate than the humid Southern September we had in Nashville, so layering is your best friend this year.

After a day of travel, we’re kicking off Champions Circle with an easygoing welcome dinner under the San Diego sky. Expect a relaxed, open-air atmosphere with ocean breezes, so plan for breathable fabrics and comfortable footwear.
Suggestions: sundresses, polos, short-sleeved button-downs, nice jeans or shorts, and comfortable sandals or sneakers.
Pro tip: Once the sun sets, the coastal air cools off quickly. Bring a light layer so you’re comfortable through dinner

Dress Code: Casual
Location: Bayview Ballroom (indoor)
This is our morning business session—indoor, seated, and low-key in terms of movement. Casual is perfectly fine here, so feel free to dress for the rest of your day right from the start. Since you’ll have free time immediately afterward, plan your outfit around whatever you’ve got on the agenda—exploring San Diego, relaxing by the pool, or just unwinding.
The only ask: please skip bathing suits for this one. Otherwise, come as you are.
Pro tip: Indoor air conditioning can run cool, so a light sweater or layer is a smart add if you tend to get chilly.

Thursday Awards Night Dinner

Awards Night is our opportunity to celebrate your hard work and big wins. This is our dressiest night, though still business casual—no tuxes, ties, or gowns required. This will be the best night for photos.
Recommended attire includes:
- Button-down shirts, polos, slacks
- Casual cocktail or midi dresses
- Blazers optional, heels optional
- No flip-flops, distressed denim, or t-shirts, please
This is a seated indoor dinner, so dress like you’re headed to a fancy team dinner, not a wedding.

We’re closing out the event with an outdoor dinner and dance party under the stars. This is our biggest night for fun, so come dressed to move—stylish, comfortable, and ready for a full night of celebrating.
Suggestions: flowy dresses or jumpsuits, elevated tops with jeans or trousers, statement accessories—whatever makes you want to hit the dance floor.
Comfortable shoes are a must because dancing will be a highlight of the night. And since it’s an evening event outdoors, plan for a light jacket or wrap once temperatures drop.
