If this is your first time joining us for Champions Circle—welcome! You’ve earned your spot at this celebration, and we’re so excited to have you. To help you make the most of the week in San Diego, here are a few quick tips just for our first-time attendees:
Make Connections. This event brings together SHC’s top performers from across the country. Don’t be shy—mix, mingle, and introduce yourself. Everyone here shares a commitment to excellence, and this is your chance to build relationships that last well beyond the week.
Wear Your Name Badge. Your name badge is more than just a credential—it’s your conversation starter! Please wear it to all company events so fellow Champions (and SHC leadership!) can put names to faces. Plus, it’s got a handy QR code to help you access our event site any time.
Take Pictures, Make Memories. Between the bay views, the rooftop sunsets, and a room full of Champions, you’ll have no shortage of photo moments this week. Snap plenty of pictures, offer to take one for a new friend, and share your favorites with the group. Your camera roll should be as full as your calendar by Saturday.
Mind the Time Change. Traveling from the East Coast or Central time? San Diego runs on Pacific time, so give yourself a little grace on day one. The upside: waking up early means you’ll catch the sunrise over the bay and have the Embarcadero nearly to yourself.
Step Outside. Our hotel sits right on San Diego’s waterfront, and some of the city’s best sights are just steps from the lobby. Even 30 free minutes is enough for a harbor-front stroll. Comfortable shoes and sunscreen will be your two best friends all week.
Pro Tip: Say Yes Say yes to sitting at a new table. Say yes to exploring the city with someone you just met. Say yes to dancing when the music kicks in. The more you put into the experience, the more you’ll take away.
