Additional Things to Know

It’s almost time for the big event, but we have a few final items that we want to be sure everyone hears about before arriving.

  • The Cliff Lodge is a cashless property. You should plan to use a credit or debit card during your stay or use one of the free reverse ATMs to convert cash into a prepaid card that can be used anywhere that accepts credit cards (on and off the Snowbird property).
  • The hotel will ask for a credit card when you check in. The hotel will place a $60 per day hold on your credit card ($180 for our event) that will be removed at the end of your stay. There should be no other resort fees or other charges to your personal card other than charges you make to your room.
  • Each employee will receive a $30 gift card at the SHC check desk that can be redeemed at any restaurant or store on the property. We will provide boxed lunches on Thursday, but there isn’t a group meal planned for Friday lunch. You can use this gift card to buy lunch on property Friday or use it at any restaurant or store during your stay.
  • Remember to hydrate! The Cliff Lodge is more than 8,000 feet about sea level and Hidden Peak is over 11,000. Staying hydrated before and during the event is a great way to ensure that you minimize any negative effects from the altitude change.
  • Don’t forget to pack a swimsuit. Even though you may not think about swimming at the top of a mountain, the heated pool and 2 hot tubs are available year-round.
